Save the Tudor Creek Project

Tudor Creek is one of two main water bodies separating Mombasa Island (and the city of Mombasa) from the Kenyan mainland (the other body being Kilindini Harbour).
Before the estuary into the Indian Ocean, the tidal creek passes under the Nyali Bridge, and is bordered to the west by the Makupa Causeway.
The source of the river that becomes the creek is near the town of Mariakani, approximately 20 miles (32 km) north-west of Mombasa.

For the last one Month a team of Young model and youth advocates  have joined hands to help solve the challenge the creek is facing.

Looking at the Three Main stage of its advancement the team intends to create awareness on the cycle, this Creek has to the entire Mombasa Eco System in the area.Follow our blog Pwani Youth Network for update on the details of the work, what mangrove can  do and why conserving the Creek would help mainly the unemployment challenge to the youths
